Port 953 is used for the Domain Name System (DNS) Reserved Port, also known as the DNS RNDC (Remote Name Daemon Control) Protocol. It is commonly used for secure communication between DNS servers and management tools, allowing for the remote management of DNS services. It is also used for zone transfer between DNS servers.
