Port 7548 is commonly used for ADSL (Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line) connections. It is used for data communication between the customer’s premises and the Internet Service Provider’s (ISP) network equipment. It is also used for firmware updates and remote management of the ADSL modem or router by the ISP.
