Port 5355 is used for the multicast Domain Name System (mDNS) protocol. It is a protocol used for resolving hostnames to IP addresses on a local network without the need for a central DNS server. It is commonly used in modern operating systems and devices such as Apple’s Bonjour, Microsoft’s Windows, and Android devices.
