Port 2385 is most commonly used for remote communication between a server and clients using the Common Information Model (CIM). It is specifically used by the Web-Based Enterprise Management (WBEM) protocol for remote management and monitoring of devices in a network environment. WBEM is a standard developed by the Distributed Management Task Force (DMTF) that enables management of system resources using a common set of interfaces and protocols.
