Port 16992 is used for Intel Active Management Technology (AMT) for Remote Management of Computers. AMT is a hardware-based technology that allows for remote management and maintenance of computers, even when the operating system is offline or unresponsive. Port 16992 is used for communication between the management console and the AMT-enabled computer.
