Port 1691 is primarily used for Intel Remote Management Module (Intel RMM) communication. It is a proprietary protocol used for out-of-band server management that allows administrators to remotely manage and monitor servers, update firmware, and access BIOS settings, even if the server is turned off or has a software failure.
