Port 137

Port 137 is primarily used for NetBIOS Name Service, which is a protocol used for name registration and resolution in a Windows-based network. It allows computers to communicate with each other using names instead of IP addresses. Port 137 is also used for server message block (SMB) traffic, which is a protocol used for file sharing, printer sharing, and other types of communication between Windows systems.
