Port 5987

Port 5987 is mainly used for Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) connections made through a secure tunnel using Transport Layer Security (TLS). It is a secure version of port 3389, which is the default port for unencrypted RDP connections. Port 5987 is also used for Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop remote desktop services.
