Port 2477 is used for the administration and management of devices in the Dell OpenManage Client Instrumentation (OMCI) infrastructure. OMCI is a technology used for managing and monitoring Dell client systems. It allows IT administrators to remotely install drivers, update firmware, and perform other management tasks on Dell computers.
