Port 1985

Port 1985 is commonly used for the Cisco Hot Standby Router Protocol (HSRP), a Cisco proprietary protocol that allows multiple routers to work together to present the appearance of a single virtual router to the hosts on a LAN. It is also used for the Lockheed Martin Mission Systems & Training’s COMSEC Logistics Hawks automated logistics system and for the Apple Remote Desktop (ARD) Screen Sharing feature.
