Port 1000

Port 1000 is not reserved for any specific service or protocol. It is considered a non-standard port number and can be used for various purposes, depending on the configuration of the network. Some common applications or services that may use port 1000 include Java RMI (Remote Method Invocation) registry, Cisco Virtual Port Channel (vPC) peer keepalive, and VMware Virtual Console Proxy.
